Beaver Brook Nursery LLC began here in Sussex County, New Jersey in 1988. After realizing a great opportunity was present in the production of “west coast style” plants in such close proximity to the greater New York area market, we initiated our field production operation. Currently, 25 acres are being utilized in north western New Jersey for field and container production.
Plant propagation by grafting has become our passion here at Beaver Brook Nursery. Initially we grafted liners solely for our own nursery production; however, as time went on we began providing liners for other nurseries as well.
In 1999 the use of Rootmaker® containers was incorporated into our liner production process. This change has shown tremendous results both by improving the quality of the plants, and also by significantly reducing the overall production time. Now Rootmaker® containers are used exclusively in our liner production. We have over 30 cultivars available for immediate delivery including Japanese maples, Beeches, Pines, Spruce, Hinoki Cypress, Firs, Cedars, and more. All are ready for field planting or up-potting.
